About packet.guru
packet.guru is a free, privacy-first toolkit for network and browser forensics. It shows what your connection and browser reveal about you, and how websites, anti-fraud systems, and bot filters read that signal. The centerpiece is the Privacy & Trust Index, a pair of 0-100 scores. The Privacy score rates how trackable and exposed you are. The Trust score rates how genuine you look to automated defenses. They stay separate on purpose, because a VPN or Tor can raise your privacy while lowering how trustworthy you appear, and one number cannot answer both questions at once.
Who it is for
- Developers and QA engineers who need to know why real users hit CAPTCHAs, blocks, or bot challenges.
- Security and anti-fraud teams who want to see a connection the way their own detection reads it.
- Privacy-minded users checking whether a VPN, proxy, or hardened browser really hides what they expect.
- Researchers and pentesters studying browser fingerprinting, IP reputation, and automation detection.
What you can check
In one click the Privacy & Trust Index reports your IP address, geolocation, and IP reputation, covering VPN, proxy, datacenter, Tor, Apple Private Relay, and Cloudflare WARP. It runs a DNS leak test and a WebRTC leak test, measures your browser fingerprint and how unique you look, reports your TLS and network fingerprint and Encrypted Client Hello status, and flags whether your setup looks automated or like an anti-detect browser. Alongside the dashboard are 25 free network, DNS, web, and utility tools and a technical privacy blog.
Privacy and data
The Privacy & Trust Index runs in your browser. For exactly what is kept and what is never collected, read the Privacy Policy.
